FURBALL by Jeana Scotti

Sam has a furball growing inside their vagina. A furball made of cat hair. Because Sam’s partner doesn’t wash their hands after petting the cat (no matter how many times Sam asks them to) before they have sex. No one can offer a solution, not even the gynecologist, who says there’s just not enough research on this sort of thing, as the furball continues to grow.

OPEN STUDIO by Emmy Weissman

Maya signs up for a pottery class and is drawn into the lives of two men— one older, one younger— at the studio. She finds herself entangled in the complex dynamics of this triangle, as it coalesces and crumbles. Open Studio takes a magnifying glass to a small town pottery studio, and shines a light on how the most vulnerable parts of life reveal themselves in seemingly unassuming spaces.
