Open Call for Musicians and Music Groups in Queens

LPAC is dedicated to advancing a wide variety of music, from classical and contemporary to jazz and beyond. We aim to strengthen the non-profit music ecosystem by supporting projects that have communal, cultural, or field-wide significance. As part of our commitment, we nurture collaborative relationships between musicians, community organizations, and music enthusiasts in Queens.

LPAC is excited to announce an open call for a performance residency, inviting all genres of musicians and music groups based in Queens. This open call celebrates the rich and diverse music scene in Queens, inviting local musicians from all genres to showcase their talents.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Residence: Artists must be based in Queens

  • Genre: All music genres are welcome

  • Cultural Representation: While not mandatory,
    we prefer performances that reflect cultural heritage

We Encourage: Initiatives that connect with diverse communities and projects that explore the intersection between music and well-being.

Application Process


Interested artists should submit their application with the following:

  • A brief biography or band description

  • A sample of their work (audio or video links)

  • A proof of Queens residency, one page proposal, and proposed date. 

  • A short statement on how their performance represents or connects with cultural heritage (if applicable)


Deadline: Application accepted on a rolling base
